Administrative Unit: CDF Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit

Location: Mormon Hills Area, 3 miles south of Mariposa

Acres Burned: 416

Containment: 100%

Control: Full control expected September 6 at 6 p.m.

Structures Destroyed: 5 outbuildings and several vehicles.

Threatened: There is minimal threat to structures in the area.

Evacuations: Evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.

Injuries: 2

Cause: Under Investigation

Cooperating Agencies: CDF, US Forest Service, Mariposa County Fire, CHP, Sheriff, Yosemite National Park

Total Fire Personnel: 367

Fire crews: 14 CDF

Engines: 26 CDF

Costs to date: $1.4 million

Conditions: Mop-up and patrol. Demobilization of resources continues.
