Public Notice - Fairfax EIR

The Fairfax Conversion Project Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (CEQA) as amended. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is the lead agency for the environmental review of the Fairfax Conversion Project evaluated herein and has the principal responsibility for approving the project. As required by CEQA Guidelines §15121, this EIR will (a) inform public agency decision-makers, and the public generally, of the significant environmental effects of the project, (b) identify possible ways to minimize the significant adverse environmental effects, and (c) describe reasonable and feasible project alternatives which reduce environmental effects. The public agency shall consider the information in the EIR along with other information that may be presented to the agency.
