Urban and Community Forestry Program - High Speed Rail Authoirty Grants

CAL FIRE is working with the California High Speed Rail Authority to offer $2.5 million in tree planting grants to communities that are in the vicinity of the first portion of the high-speed rail build.  The trees planted will provide for greenhouse gas reduction and numerous environmental, social and economic benefits to the communities awarded funds.  Please find below the Grant Guidelines and all necessary forms for completing a grant application for this program.  Your CAL FIRE Regional Urban Forester can be contacted with any questions you have after reading the guidelines and as you work on developing your project.
