With minimal fire activity overnight, crews worked throughout the day and have fully contained the fire.

The Bear Fire is now 95% contained.

All evacuation orders have been lifted.

Forward progress stopped per Incident Command. Evacuation orders will be evaluated and updated within the hour.

Firefighters are making good progress on the fire with 20% containment.

Temporary Evacuation Point issued for Bear Fire.

The fire has jumped 7 mile road and is now 300 acres with the potential for 1000 acres. The Incident Commander has ordered additional resources.

Units are on scene of a vegetation fire in California Valley burning in grass at a moderate rate of spread. The fire is 180 acres with potential for 300 acres. The IC has augmented the response and requested additional engines and aircraft. There is one outbuilding involved and 1 structure threatened.
