Incident Updates
The involved barn, travel trailer, and two vehicles were determined to be total losses. Despite its close proximity and direct flame exposure, the primary residence was successfully protected and sustained no damage.
Utilities serving the damaged structures were isolated. PG&E personnel assisted with the utility assessment and were able to maintain electrical service to the unaffected primary residence.
Crews performed extensive salvage and overhaul operations throughout the involved area to extinguish concealed and remaining fire, identify hot spots, and protect unaffected property. The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
No civilian or responder injuries were reported.
New incident in Placer County - Andressen Fire is 0.5 acres. Forward progress has stopped and firefighters will remain on scene for 2-3 hours for mop-up.
