Current Situation
Situation Summary
Winds remain strong over the Salt Fire area. Monday's highs reached between 80 to 90 degrees. The weather is expected to continue to cool down to the mid-70s and 80s over the next few days. Firefighters are making progress building and strengthening control lines and mopping up hot spots.
Damage inspection teams continue working to identify structures that may have been impacted by fire.
