Current Situation

Situation Summary

The Salt Fire is most active between 1:00pm and 1:00am every day. A damage inspection team is working in the area to identify structures that may have been impacted by fire. Temperatures Sunday are expected to be slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Winds are expected to gust up to 20mph in the afternoon.

Firefighters are engaged in aggressive fire suppression as they establish and strengthen control lines. The public is asked to avoid driving in the area as emergency vehicles with be active on the roads.
