Situation Summary

Since Saturday there have been over 1,500 lightning strikes across northern and central California. As a result over 81 confirmed fires have sparked in CAL FIRE's jurisdiction. Santa Clara Unit - 20 fires, 200 acres, all contained. Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit - 9 fires, 10 acres, all contained. Mendocino Unit - 2 fires, 11 acres, both contained. Amador-Eldorado Unit - 5 fires, 12 acres, all contained. Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit - 7 fires, all contained; The Telegraph Fire near Cooperopolis is 200 acres, fully contained, the San Antonio Fire near Arnold is 5 acres, fully contained. Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit - 2 fires, the Hunter Fire is 3 acres, fully contained and the Horseshoe Fire is 1 acre, fully contained. Siskiyou Unit - 3 fires, all contained. Continued monitoring and patrol of existing fires as needed, and suppression of any new fires as identified.
