Status Update

Situation Summary

Smoking debris may be seen on the western edge of the fire, but does not pose a threat to residents.

Fire crews will remain on patrol and working in the communities to remove hazard trees.

Repopulation for Paradise and Swall Meadows residents began Monday at 4 p.m.

Residents will need to use extreme caution in and around damaged and destroyed homes. Structural instability, hot ash pockets and fire weakened chimneys pose a risk for injury. Hazardous chemicals may remain in the ash and soil.

Red Cross will be available at the Crowley Lake Community Center and the Salvation Army will continue to be at the Tri County Fairgrounds.
