Situation Summary

Current Situation:

As containment on the fire increases, resources will transition to repair efforts while others will be demobilized. Motorists should drive cautiously and always yield to emergency vehicles that are traveling on and off of roads and highways. CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 5 has transitioned command of the South Zone back to the Shasta Trinity National Forest. USFS California Interagency Incident Management Team 5 will continue to manage both zones. “Ready, Set, Go” is a user-friendly website that shows homeowners step-by-step instructions for returning home after a wildfire. For more information on wildfires, visit www.readyforwildfire.org. For any questions regarding the Monument Fire call (530) 628-0039 or visit the links listed above.
