Current Situation:
This period, two smokes identified well inside the black. Fire will be patrolled for several days, but fire is considered 100% contained.
Firefighters significantly increased containment during today’s operational period to 100%.
The evacuation orders and evacuation warnings have been lifted in all areas of the fire. However, the Auburn State Recreation Area remains closed in some areas including: Mammoth Bar OHV Area, including all trails, Old Foresthill Road, Lower Lake Clementine, Culvert Trail, Lake Clementine Trail, Connector Trail from Doc Gordon’s to Lower Lake Clementine Road, Fuel Break Trail, Confluence Trail, all other areas that had been closed due to the Bridge Fire have been reopened.
Additionally, while Foresthill Road has reopened a temporary speed limit of 25 mph is in place to maintain safety of firefighters and other personnel working in the area and stoping, parking, or loitering is not permissible. Old Foresthill Road remained closed from Highway 49 to Foresthill Road.

Evacuation & Warning Orders:
- All evacuation orders for the areas surrounding the Bridge Fire have been lifted.
- The Auburn State Recreation Area remains closed in some areas including: Mammoth Bar OHV Area, including all trails, Old Foresthill Road, Lower Lake Clementine, Culvert Trail, Lake Clementine Trail, Connector Trail from Doc Gordon’s to Lower Lake Clementine Road, Fuel Break Trail, Confluence Trail, all other areas that had been closed due to the Bridge Fire have been reopened.
- All evacuation warnings for the areas surrounding the Bridge Fire have been lifted.
Road Closures:
- Foresthill Road will reopen with a temporary speed reduction to 25 mph from Lincoln Way to Upper Lake Clementine. Additional restrictions include no stopping, parking, or loitering on Foresthill Road.
- Old Foresthill Road remains closed from Highway 49 to Foresthill Road.

CAL FIRE owns and operates over 3,000 fire and emergency response and resource protection vehicles. In support of its ground forces, the CAL FIRE emergency response air program includes 23 Grumman S-2T 1,200 gallon airtankers, 12 UH-1H Super Huey helicopters, 9 CALFIRE Hawks, and 16 OV-10A airtactical. From 13 air attack and 10 helitack bases located statewide, aircraft can reach most fires within 20 minutes.
