Current Situation
Situation Summary
Fire activity continues to be minimal with smoldering and creeping fire behavior observed as firefighters strengthen established lines and gained containment. Hot and dry conditions prevailed across the fire today. The continued warming and drying trend experienced over the last couple of days is expected to continue tomorrow. Property assessments identifying damage and destroyed structures are being conducted by four Damage Assessment teams. Repopulation in some areas have occurred as the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office continues to lift Evacuation Orders and Warnings.
