Status Update

Situation Summary

Firefighters are on-scene of approximately 10 acres burning in light grass at a moderate rate of spread. Air and ground resources are on-scene working toward containment. 

 

The fire is 18 acres and 10% contained. Crews are working to strengthen the controls lines and mop-up.

 

The fire remains at 18 acres and is now 50% contained. Crews continue working to strengthen the controls lines and mop-up.

 

The fire is 80% contained. Crews will remain working overnight until containment is complete and will be out patrolling tomorrow. This will be the final update of the evening unless significant activity occurs.
