Situation Summary
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire burning near the intersection of Broadway and Carmen Avenue in Cabazon. The fire was initially reported at 1/4 acre and grew to 11 acres. The forward rate of spread was stopped at 5:29 p.m. and firefighters will remain on scene for approx 2 hours for mop up and overhaul.
