Current Situation
Situation Summary
Firefighters continue strengthening direct control lines, conducting mop-up within impacted communities, and addressing threats to critical infrastructure. Suppression repair teams are actively preparing for incoming weather to reduce potential post-fire impacts.
Damage Inspection Teams have completed assessments, and utility companies continue evaluating and repairing affected infrastructure. Steep terrain and ongoing weather conditions, including cloud cover and precipitation, limit the safe use of aircraft and make perimeter verification challenging.
Evacuation Shelters are now closed. Anyone needing assistance can contact the Mono County Emergency Management Department at 760-924-4633.
