Current Situation
Situation Summary
Firefighting personnel continue to make steady progress on the incident. Overnight, fire activity remained minimal, aided by decreased temperatures and higher humidity levels that supported suppression efforts.
Crews observed isolated areas of smoldering heavy fuels within the McGee Creek area, but no significant fire growth occurred.
Ground resources continued constructing direct control lines, addressing potential threats to critical infrastructure, and conducted mop-up operations within impacted communities.
Damage Inspection Teams are continuing their assessments in affected areas and are currently 96% complete.
