Situation Summary

As of 6:00 PM, the fire is 85% contained. Over 10,000 feet of hose was used to suppress the fire, and crews are now focused on suppression repair to stabilize the landscape. Efforts continue to extinguish hot spots, particularly in deep juniper duff, and prevent flare-ups. While forward spread has stopped and evacuations are lifted, mop-up and backhaul operations remain underway. The cause is still under investigation.
