Situation Summary
Firefighters continue to make progress on gaining full containment. Fire continues to burn through grass, brush, and junipers. Crews will continue to mop up and strengthen the containment lines and closely monitor fire activity, ensuring it stays within controlled boundaries.
CAL FIRE'S Damage Inspectors conducted damage inspections of the Juniper Incident today. 1 Single Family Residence classed structure and 1 Outbuilding classed structure were determined to be destroyed.
Evacuation warnings issued by Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office remain in place. Stay informed and be prepared as the situation develops. Please avoid the area due to lots of fire resources in the area.
