Status Update

Situation Summary

Firefighters are on scene of a vegetation fire on El Monte Road east of Lake Jennings Parkway. The fire is now approximately 340 acres in size and 10% contained. The fire activity has reduced and is now moving at a slow rate of spread. Fire crews are working in steep and rocky terrain but continuing to make progress.
