Status Update

Situation Summary

Crews are focused on suppression repair, reinforcing containment lines, and monitoring fire activity to maintain control. Evacuation Warning remains in place by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office. Pacific power deactivated the power lines in the Big Springs area for firefighter safety and are currently working to reenergize. All aircraft was grounded due to an unmanned aircraft this evening over the fire.
