Current Situation

Situation Summary

Crews are focused on suppression repair, reinforcing containment lines, and monitoring fire activity to maintain control. Evacuation Warning remain in place by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office. Pacific power deactivated the power lines in the Big Springs aera for firefighter safety and are currently working to reenergize. All aircraft was grounded due to an unmanned aircraft this evening over the fire. Reminder if you fly we can't. Stay prepared and stay alert.
