Status Update

Situation Summary

UPDATE 8:15PM: The fire is now 30% contained; firefighters have walked the fire perimeter and have determined the fire has burned 83 acres. Fire resources will remain on scene overnight working to strengthen containment lines. No injuries reported. This will be the final update of the evening barring any significant updates on fire activity.

 

UPDATE 6:20PM: The fire is approximately 30 acres and 15% contained. The forward rate of spread of the fire was stopped at approximately 5:20PM. Firefighters will remain on-scene for several hours working on full containment and control. There are no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters, and no evacuations in place. 

 

Firefighters from CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire, CAL FIRE San Bernardino and Redlands City Fire Department are on-scene of approximately 15 acres burning in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
