Situation Summary
CAL FIRE responded to a 30-acre vegetation fire in the Poverty Hills area following multiple lightning strikes reported in the region. Due to the fire’s proximity to the ongoing Fish Fire, resources were quickly reassigned and began immediate suppression efforts by both air and ground.
Crews will remain on scene overnight to monitor conditions and continue building containment lines.
