Current Situation
Situation Summary
Firefighters continue to make progress on two lightning-caused vegetation fires in the Poverty Hills area of Inyo County. Forward progression has stopped and crews will remain on scene overnight to monitor conditions and continue building containment lines. Thunderstorms remain in the area with a high chance of holdover fires due to lightning.
