Current Situation
Situation Summary
Firefighters continued to construct containment lines and cool smoldering material deep into the perimeter of the fire. Temperatures increased today with lower daytime humidities as high pressure continued the warming trend. Crews continue to monitor areas of steep rugged terrain for smoldering materials. The fire perimeter remains in the control lines and within the Glass Fire footprint (2020).
Damage inspection teams have finished their assessments. There are four confirmed outbuildings destroyed and one single family residence. The destroyed single-family residence was found within the fire perimeter. The property is believed to have been abandoned due to its remote location and lack of access routes.
As repopulation occurs, please remain vigilant as fire personnel continue to work in the area.
