Current Situation

Situation Summary

Firefighters made significant progress today, addressing small flare ups, strengthening control lines and conducting extensive mop-up operations. Structure defense efforts remained in place, while suppression repair teams worked to identify and mitigate environmental impacts caused by firefighting operations.

Damage assessment teams completed inspections across a large portion of the affected area, confirming today that the fire destroyed 2 single residences and 5 outbuildings.

Overnight, crews will continue to patrol and monitor the fire, especially near populated area, extinguishing any remaining hot spots as needed.
As of this morning, all evacuation warnings in Los Angeles and Ventura counties have been lifted.
