Current Situation
Situation Summary
Weather was seasonably cool today with moderate humidity across the Salt Fire area. A gradual warming and drying trend begins tomorrow.
The fire is at containment around most of the perimeter and heavy fuels in the interior will continue to smolder. Firefighters are conducting fire suppression repair and are continuing to patrol and mop up hot spots.
