Current Situation

Situation Summary

No new fire growth has been observed due to suppression efforts and increased humidity. Today crews will continue direct attack on the fire. Personnel will be working to also widen and improve control lines and evaluate opportunities for suppression control on some areas of the fires. Some of these fires are in steep, rugged terrain.
For the Calaveras County 2-7 Fire, all evacuation orders have been downgraded to evacuation warnings. Evacuation warnings will remain in place until further notice. Please stay cautious if you are re-entering your home after evacuation. Keep an eye out for any hazards. 
Damage Inspection Teams (DINS) continue to assess all areas where structures have been impacted. Totals will adjust as these teams evaluate the affected area.
