The Bloomfield Fire is 100% contained. The fire is determined to be likey caused by lightning strike. Firefighters are continuing to investigate the area for any new starts due to heavy timber understory.

CAL FIRE Nevada Yuba Placer Firefighters responded to the report of a vegetation fire off North Bloomfield and Graniteville Roads in North San Juan, Nevada County. The vegetation fire is estimated at .25 acres with a slow rate of spread in timber understory with no structure threat. Firefighters are working on access now.
