The Carbon Fire currently stands at 95% contained, and the Orange County Fire Authority has transitioned out of Unified Command with Brea Fire Department and CAL FIRE.

No change in acreage or containment. OCFA and Brea Fire Department will continue suppression repair and tactical patrol to look for hot spots over the next 3 days.

The Carbon Fire is now 84% contained. Firefighters will continue to work on suppression repair and reinforcing the fire line today.

Access to the fire from the ground is difficult due to steep, narrow terrain. Air resources continue to work the fire’s perimeter as conditions allow.

Evacuation warnings have been lifted for El Rodeo Stables and Brea Hills Avenue. All other warnings remain in place.

Evacuation warnings and road closures have been issued for Hollydale, Olinda Village, El Rodeo Stables and Brea Hills. Carbon Canyon Road is closed between Brea Hills and Ruby.
