Fire personnel have stopped the forward spread of the fire at approximately 20 acres. Crews will remain on-scene for several hours working on full containment and mop-up. The #2 and #3 lane of Northbound Interstate 15 will be closed from Indian Truck Trail to north of the incident for three hours for personnel safety.

New incident in Riverside County- Mayhew Fire, is now 15 acres and 0% contained. Fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread and additional air and ground resources have been requested.
