Resources continue to strengthen control lines and mop-up the fire is now 90% contained.

Acreage increased to 36 acres with more accurate mapping. Containment is now 75%. Crews continue to improve containment lines and patrol for hot spots.
Grand Avenue will open tonight at 7:00pm.
Chino Valley Fire investigator determined the fire was caused after a single vehicle rollover collision that then caught fire, extending into the vegetation.
Firefighters continued to make progress through the night, bringing containment to 50%. Crews will remain engaged extinguishing hot spots and strengthening containment lines.
All evacuations and warnings have been lifted, all aircraft released. Grand Avenue between Grand Avenue Park and the city limit will remain closed until further notice. Firefighters have made significant progress and wil continue working through the night.
1 minor firefighter injury reported, firefighter was transported to a local hospital.
Fire is holding at 30 acres with cooler night time temperatures and increased humidity.
