Van Buren Boulevard has been reopened to one lane in each direction of travel. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area as firefighters continue working diligently to strengthen and build containment lines around the fire. Residents and travelers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the area, as firefighters remain actively engaged in full containment efforts along the roadways.

The fire is approximately 20 acres, and a large augmentation of air and ground resources has been requested. Arlington Avenue between Crestview and Western is closed on the Riverside City side of the river bottom.

New incident in Riverside County- Bain Fire, is 20 acres. Multiple resources are on scene, fire is burning in heavy fuels with a moderate rate of spread. Additional air and ground resources are requested.
