Wyly Fire is now 96% contained.
Overnight crews used cooler temperatures and higher humidity to gain additional containment. The fire is currently 74% contained.
The Wyly Fire is now 1,075 acres and 52% contained. Throughout the day crews continued to construct and improve control lines while patrolling for hot spots. Acreage increased due to more accurate mapping.
Minimal fire activity was seen overnight, crews are continuing to construct control lines and extinguish hot spots. The fire is now 32% contained.
