Incident Updates
The 72 Fire is now 100% contained.
The 72 Fire is now 90% contained.
Firefighters remained on the incident overnight, working on hot spots and containment line. A day assignment is engaged in mop-up operations and will work throughout the day to confirm containment lines are cut in fully around the fire.
The fire is 80 acres and 50% contained. Firefighters will remain on-scene through the night and will continue working towards full containment.
The forward progress of the fire has been stopped at approximately 75 acres. Fire personnel will remain on-scene for several hours working on full containment and mop-up. No evacuations were required and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters are on-scene of approximately 40 acres burning in heavy fuels at a dangerous rate of spread. Additional ground resources have been requested.
