The Limonite Fire is now 100% contained.

The Limonite Fire is now 95% contained.

Firefighters remained on-scene overnight continuing mop-up efforts in heavy vegetation. The fire is now 80% contained, and fire personnel remain on-scene strengthening containment lines.

Fire personnel remain on-scene working on mop-up operations in heavy brush. Three firefighters have suffered minor injuries and were transported to local area hospitals for continued treatment. Firefighters will remain on-scene throughout the night strengthening containment lines. This will be the final update of the evening unless significant changes occur.

The fire is burning at a slow rate of spread in heavy fuels, and fire personnel continue working on building containment lines. There are two water-dropping helicopters overhead.
