The Junction Fire is now 75% contained. Firefighters will continue to patrol and mop up the fire. The road closure of Highway 79 has been fully lifted for both North and Southbound lanes.

The forward rate of spread has been stopped, and containment has increased to 50%. Highway 79 has been opened to one lane. Please drive with extreme caution near the incident.
