Incident Updates
The Tommy fire started yesterday at approximately 4:30 pm southeast of the community of Palermo. A standard medium level wildland dispatch was initiated which included aircraft, fire engines, hand crews, and bulldozers. The initial report on conditions stated the fire was approximately 2- 4 acres, with structures threatened, in a grass-oak woodland fuel model. The first arriving engines quickly mitigated the structure threat, and additional ground resources focused on perimeter control. The fire ultimately grew to 10.9 acres and is now 100% contained. Two fire engines are assigned today, June 10th, for patrol and suppression repair.
The Tommy Fire is 100% contained.
