Incident Updates
The Point Fire is now 100% contained.
Containment has increased today. Firefighters will continue to patrol the fire line throughout the day.
Fire remains 650 acres. Containment has increased to 50 percent. Emergency personnel continue to strengthen containment lines. Lane closure of Highway 152 is being lifted.
Fire is at 650 acres and forward process has stopped. Fire is holding at 30% containment.
Incident Commander has requested two bulldozers.
One lane of Highway 152 has been closed.
The fire is now 500 acres.
The Point Fire is 100 acres. Incident Commander is requesting an additional 5 engines.
The Point Fire is at 50 acres.
Air attack requesting 2 additional fixed wing air tankers and one additional helicopter.
Firefighters are at scene of a 20 acre vegetation fire on Highway 152, East of Dinosaur Point Road.
