Resources are in patrol status for the next three days.

Resources worked overnight to extinguish hot spots and conduct mom-up operations. Today, firefighters will continue working until the area is secure.

Firefighters have made excellent progress on the Hill Fire today.

Crews will remain on scene through the night conducting mop-up operations, extinguishing remaining hot spots, and patrolling the fire perimeter to ensure the fire remains secure.

All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted.

Firefighters have completed hose line around the fire, which remains at 16.1 acres. Resources have stopped the forward spread and will remain on scene for the next 4–5 hours extinguishing hot spots, strengthening containment lines, and conducting mop-up operations to ensure the fire remains secure.

Multiple ground and air resources are actively engaged on the Hill Fire near Claudio Lane and Happy Hills Road in the West Valley area. The fire is currently estimated at 10–15 acres and is exhibiting a moderate rate of spread. Air resources are making good progress, assisting firefighters as they work to slow the fire's spread and establish containment.

Please avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to safely conduct suppression operations. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
