The Zebra Fire is 100% contained.

The Zebra Fire has no changes to acreage and containment.

Update for the Zebra Fire Per Angeles National Forest Facebook: Containment on the 25 acre Zebra rises to 80%. The remaining 20% is vertical terrain and is inaccessible creating unsafe conditions for fireline construction. Firefighters are not detecting any smoke nor heat from the fire interior. The fire is no longer under Unified Command with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire remains at 70% contained. Firefighters continue to face challenges constructing and strengthening containment lines due to vertical terrain. The fire has burned 25 acres, and the cause remains under investigation. There is currently no threat to nearby communities or State Highway 39 - Angeles National Forest.
