Overnight crews continued to strengthen control lines and patrol for hot spots. The Little fire is now 65% contained.

The Little Fire is now 1,007 acres, 40% contained. Forward rate of spread has been stopped, firefighters continue to strengthen containment lines. A CAL FIRE engine rolled over, one firefighter sustained minor injuries and transported to the hospital. The firefighter has since been released.
The Little Fire has grown to 1,007 acres, burning in grass and brush. The fire is in a remote location with difficult access and continues to threaten structures and powerlines.
Evacuation Orders have been updated.

The Fire is currently 700 acres, 0% contained. Firefighters are being challenged by limited access and hot weather, attacking the fire from the ground with engines, crews, and bulldozers, and the air with tankers and helicopters. CAL FIRE is in Unified Command with Alameda County Fire.
