The Rider Fire is now 100% contained.

No change to acreage or containment.

No change in acreage or containment overnight, the Rider Fire remains at 140 acres and 98% contained.

The fire has transitioned into patrol status, crews will continue monitoring the fire and mopping up as needed.

Crews worked all night hitting hot spots and building more containment lines. Day assignment crews will continue to seek out remaining hotspots.

Crews were successful in extending the containment lines around the fire. They will remain working in all areas of the fire throughout the night. Three outbuildings were destroyed in the fire, and Damage Assessment Specialists (DINS) will be out to survey the damage tomorrow morning. This will be the last update for the night unless conditions change.

The fire is now 10% contained. Crews are hitting hotspots on the perimeter of the fire as well as piles on the interior of the fire as they build more containment. All road closures have been opened.

The forward rate of spread was stopped at 4:26 PM, and crews continue to mop up and strengthen control lines. There are no reports of injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Crews are making good progress on the flanks of the fire.

Firefighters are at scene of a ten-acre vegetation fire with additional resources responding. No evacuations or injuries reported.
