Thanks to the quick response by firefighters on the ground and in the air, along with support from local partners, forward progress of the fire was quickly stopped. No evacuations were needed, and no structures were threatened. Crews will continue to strengthen containment lines and complete mop-up operations.

The Underwood Fire is 11 acres and 20% contained. Forward progress stopped.
