Incident Updates
The fire is now 100% contained. The fire had transitioned into patrol status. One local CAL FIRE engine will remain on scene checking to ensure no smoke or heat remains in the area.
Night shift resources worked through the night, upping the containment percentage while patrolling and securing control lines. Day shift personnel have been in place since 0800 and are working well within the interior of the fire, cooling pockets of fuel while ensuring the fire remains within the current footprint.
The fire remains at 13.8 acres. Two CAL FIRE engines will remain at scene overnight, patrolling and mopping up hot spots. Day Shift resources are assigned tomorrow for patrol and suppression repair.
The forward progress has been halted. Ground resources remain at scene, strengthening control lines and mopping up hotspots.
