The Mines Fire is 100% contained at 3:02PM on 08/04/2026.

The Mines Fire is now 95% contained.

There is no change to acreage or containment on the Mines Fire.

The fire remains 80% contained. Firefighters will continue working throughout the day and over the coming days to locate and extinguish any remaining hotspots and areas of visible smoke within the fire perimeter. Crews will remain committed to these efforts until all remaining heat has been extinguished and the fire is fully contained.

The fire is now 80% contained. Firefighters continue working throughout the interior of the fire, extinguishing remaining hotspots and responding to areas of visible smoke as they strengthen containment.

Firefighters continue to make progress strengthening control lines and mopping up.

Firefighters have been working throughout the night to implement and secure containment lines and mop up. The fire remains at 283 acres with 25% containment. Additional resources arrived this morning to assist with efforts in containment.

Air resources have made significant work in implementing retardant lines in conjunction with dozer containment lines. Firefighters are also working hard to secure containment lines and continue mopping up. Additional resources are enroute to support current resources for dayshift tomorrow.

The fire is now 282.7 acres after updated mapping.

Per the Incident Commander the fire has grown an additional 40 acres with a dangerous rate of spread. Multiple air and ground resources are on scene and en route.

Multiple ground resources remain on scene and will continue working on extensive mop-up throughout the day.

The Mines Fire is now at 132 acres.

The Mines Fire is 100 acres and 10% contained. It appears to be holding within aircraft fire retardant lines. Firefighters continue to aggressively attack the fire to establish and reinforce those containment lines.
