Crews are working on strengthing containment lines and extinguishing hot spots.
The Buffalo Fire is now 70% contained. Firefighters continue to patrol, looking for hot embers.
Forward progress has stopped. Firefighters have hose around most of the fire. In some areas, firefighters have started mop up operations.
SR-20 is now open at mile post marker 42 and Mendocino/Lake County line.
Crews and aircraft have made progress slowing the fire's spread. The fire remains at approximately 10 acres.
