The fire is currently 40 acres and 5% contained. Firefighting crews continue working to suppress the fire by building and strengthening containment lines around the perimeter while extinguishing hotspots.

New incident in Santa Barbara County - Drum Fire is 34 acres with dangerous rate of spread. Four airtankers are assigned.

Evacuation Warning: A potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate and those with pets and livestock should leave immediately.
Advisory: Residents should be aware of the situation and be prepared to evacuate if conditions worsen.
Shelter in Place: Go inside the nearest safe building, lock all doors and windows, and stay there until local authorities give the "all clear".
