Incident Updates
The Loma Fire is 100% contained.
Crews worked diligently throughout the night to strengthen the containment lines. The fire is 75% contained and today's resources assigned to the incident will be 5 engines, 1 handcrew, and 1 watertender.
All Evacuation Orders have been lifted for the Loma Fire.
Fire crews are still on-site conducting mop-up of the fire. The road closure at E. Emigrant Trl has been lifted. A traffic control point has been established for Swiss Ranch Road for residents only, with verification required.
Please be mindful of first responders in the area while returning.
The fires forward progress has been stopped. All aircraft have been released and some resources will remain at scene. Firefighters will continue to construct and strengthen the fire's perimeter overnight.
Fire Update: Although the fire has grown slightly, it currently remains within established retardant lines. Some of the aircraft are holding their position at the airbase and Air Attack continues to monitor conditions. Ground resources are still responding, please avoid the area.
