Night flying helicopters will continue supporting firefighters throughout the night, working alongside ground crews to slow the fire's spread and strengthen containment. Cooler temperatures and higher humidities make water drops more effective, allowing aircraft and firefighters to take full advantage of favorable conditions as suppression efforts continue overnight.

An additional two helicopters with night flying capability are working the fire. A significant augmentation of resources has been requested. Central Valley Incident Management Team has been requested to assist.

The Gann Fire is now at 310 acres, and evacuation orders have been issued.

Fire is moving at a moderate to dangerous rate of spread. One reported dozer rollover, personnel is being evaluated.

The fire is now 250 acres. Firefighters continue to aggressively attack the fire from both the ground and the air. Coordinated efforts between ground crews and firefighting aircraft are helping slow the fire's spread while strengthening containment. Additional resources are continuing to arrive to support the ongoing suppression efforts and reinforce firefighters already working on the incident.

The Gann Fire is now at 100 acres.

The fire is approximately 40 to 50 acres, with hoselays going up both flanks.

The fire is burning at a dangerous rate of spread through grass and brush, with rapid uphill fire behavior. Additional firefighting resources have been ordered and are responding to support suppression efforts.
